Vintage Lexington Furniture Victorian Sampler Collection Sawn Oak Mirror

This is a sawn oak mirror that measures 49.25” wide X 48” high . It was created to capture the aesthetics of the late 19th century Victorian design (which lasted from 1837 to 1901) but with a modern scale and using solid oak hardwood which is known for its durability and strength.
The quality of the wood itself contributes significantly to the cost of oak furniture. Oak trees grow slowly, resulting in denser and more robust wood, which is harder to source and process. This mirror was built and sold by Lexington Furniture in the late 1990’s and has many more years of use still in its bones.
Note: No mirror hardware is included – you will need to mount the mirror on the wall using your own hardware or prop the mirror on the back of a dresser.
